ANCHORAGE, ALASKA
The Chugach people of Alaska live in remarkable landscape of more than 5,000 miles of coastline. Their communities represent a story of remarkable resilience and cultural richness. Sugpiaq, Eyak, Tlingit, Aleut and Yup’ik peoples have called this place home for generations.
Storyline is honored to work with the Chugach people to create a new museum. Our vision is to create a place in which Chugach people will see themselves. Hear their own stories. Celebrate their culture. Share their knowledge.
It will be unique. A place built on the idea of sharing. Sharing stories, languages, sharing how things are done to teach younger people. It will be a museum full of life.
