Kids Zone

Kids Zone, a 34,520-square-foot project, has been designed to transform Crossroads children’s area. The area has been reimagined and rebuilt from the ground up to better serve children from birth through 5th grade. The goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and functional environment that fosters meaningful engagement with kids and families for years to come.

The theme of Kids Zone draws inspiration from the classic “Powers of Ten” concept by Ray and Charles Eames. The area is divided into three sections: “Little,” “Middle,” and “Big.” From the smallest insects to the animals of the Pacific Northwest to the planets of our solar system, the design features custom vector-based artwork throughout all the classroom and play areas. This creates environments that ignite a sense of wonder in children.
