Washington State Historical Society • Traveling Exhibition • 3,000 sq. ft.
The Washington State Historical Society commissioned Storyline Studio for an exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the state’s women’s suffrage movement. The exhibition will travel to dozens of cities across Washington throughout 2009 and 2010. The story follows the roller-coaster ride of one of the first organized civil rights campaigns this country had ever seen: from getting the right to vote by legislation, to having it revoked by a conservative justice, and the hard-fought, street-smart grassroots campaign to win it back with a constitutional vote.
